THE MMX 150
The MMX 150 wireless gaming headset weighs 336g.
In terms of size the beyerdynamic MMX 150 is a medium sized model.
Both the model name and company logo are printed on the exterior of both earcups.
Here you can see an exposed view of the left earcup (marketing material).
beyerdynamic has placed their logo just over the earcups.
At the front of the left earcup we find the 3.5mm microphone port and next to it the USB-C charging/data port.
As expected, the detachable boom microphone is very flexible.
The volume control knob/mute/sidetone on/ff button and the play/pause/next track/previous track/low latency button are located at the rear of the left earcup.
Only the on/off/Bluetooth pairing/accept call/reject call/cancel call/end call button is located at the rear of the right earcup.
Left and right markings are printed in the interior just over the earcups.
beyerdynamic has used soft velour removable earpads (you can replace the battery pack by removing the right side earpad and the plastic beneath them).
Just like with many headsets recently the headband of the MMX 150 features a fontanelle recess for maximum comfort.
The company name is placed on the exterior of the headband.
The MMX 150 can extend on both sides up to roughly 4cm (8cm total) via 9 increments.
The bundled 2.4GHz adapter is tiny and has an RGB activity LED on top.
