LOGITECH GAMING SOFTWARE
Since the G402 Hyperion Fury doesn't come with a CD inside the box you will need to download the latest version of Logitech’s Gaming Software from their support page as seen above.
Once you install and launch the software it will check for available firmware updates and if it finds one it will notify you and begin the update.
The procedure takes around a minute to complete and requires you to unplug and plug the mouse back in at the end.
As always the first tab allows you to choose between the onboard profile(s) or the ones stored in your PC which also detect installed games and configure the device accordingly for each (if supported that is).
The software of course also allows you to adjust the DPI settings, change the available DPI levels, program the buttons, change the polling rate, create macro commands and adjust the logo brightness and lighting pattern.
Logitech has placed two very handy tools which allow you to see how fast the mouse can move with and without the fusion engine enabled (we hit 1.6ms/63IPS without and 2.1ms/82IPS with the engine on) and to see which buttons you've pressed most inside a specific period of time.
