corsair void rgb wireless review b

Even though compared to the very good Void RGB Pro Wireless SE model the brand new Void RGB Elite Wireless produces crisper and more "vivid" mids and highs the difference is far from what we'd call phenomenal (as for bass levels they both perform roughly the same and produce a very good amount of deep bass). The Dolby 7.1 surround sound feature (positioning audio) also performs nearly in the same exact way as with the Pro SE model but probably due to the improved drivers of the Elite it does feel slightly "livelier" and more accurate. On the other hand, battery life actually turned out to be just a tad worse compared to the Pro SE model and so we were unable to surpass 14 hours of continuous use but even so it's far from a bad number (you can always disable the earcup LEDs to increase battery life). As for the RGB lighting system as you can easily tell from our pictures it's very basic just like with the Pro SE model and even the more recently released Virtuoso RGB line so not much to see in that area really. All said and done you do need to keep in mind that the Elite Wireless model was never meant to be worlds apart with the Pro Wireless model in order to act as a replacement for consumers who already own the latter.

The brand new Void RGB Elite Wireless Premium Gaming Headset by CORSAIR follows on the footsteps of its predecessor even in the pricing department and so currently you can get it for just USD99 inside the USA (Amazon.com) and for 119.90Euros inside the EU (Amazon.de). Granted just like its predecessor the Void RGB Elite Wireless may not be the best all-around wireless headset in the market but it does strike a very good balance between audio performance, features and price (certainly better compared to its predecessor) and for that it gets our Golden Award.
