CONCLUSION

   After over 2 weeks of testing we have many good things to say about the 10000mAh ULTRA COMPACT POWERBANK by CHJGD. First of all it is compact and also available with various drawings/pictures at the top to cover consumers of all tastes (almost anyways). Second battery capacity is very good since after wrapping up all our tests with all the smartphones, tablets and Bluetooth peripherals we have here we measured roughly 6700-7100mAh available a number which is very good for a 10000mAh advertised portable battery. The use of an 2.1A USB output instead of an 1.0/1.5A (this is what most other portable batteries use) is also a good choice since current smartphones, tablets and portable devices in general can gain from the fastest charging times. Unfortunately however there are two things we didn’t enjoy about this product. For one CHJGD mentions several times on their website that this is a credit card sized power bank and although that’s rather true in terms of length and width (even so it's still a bit larger than a credit card as you can see from the above picture) with a height of 19mm it’s more like 19 credit cards thick (even the Sandberg credit card powerbank is 4.8mm thick but it can fit in your wallet). The second is build quality since the top of one of our samples came off shortly after our tests. Since our 2nd sample is still ok this of course could be an isolated issue.

   Although the 10000mAh ULTRA COMPACT POWERBANK by CHJGD usually retails for USD66.33/59.06Euros you can now get it directly from chargedpower.com for a price of just USD33.16/29.52Euros and that’s possibly its strongest selling point. Of course today you can find many 10000mAh portable batteries at around the same price point but to my knowledge none offers the various top designs CHJGD does. Overall the 10000mAh ULTRA COMPACT POWERBANK may be not be the highest capacity portable battery in the market nor does it have the widest range of features but it’s compact, has almost 9000mAh real available battery juice and comes at a very attractive price so we strongly recommend taking a look if you’re out in the market for one.
