sandberg survivor lantern 10k review b

As already mentioned in the beginning the Survivor Lantern All-In1 10000 arrived a few months back and so I’ve had plenty of time to test all its functions. Starting with the 10k mAh battery after over 100 recharges of numerous portable devices i never saw over 6700-7100mAh and honestly that's plenty for a device like this which isn't just a powerbank. Certainly, more would be welcome but if that were the case the top solar panel would be way small for a full charge (still, more would be welcome). Both FM and DAB+ work well as do the stereo speakers (14W total does sound a bit much but could be) but still i did notice some gaps when using the Bluetooth function to play audio from my smartphones (as for codec SBC is supported). Also as mentioned before the navigation buttons are not very responsive so at times, I’d need to press them twice to work properly. This is a rugged model however so the rubber covers all buttons have could be the reason for this. As for the LED lantern and torch they both worked well and even though they aren't that strong they are more than enough for normal/regular use in and around a tent (now if you'd like a LED torch or lantern capable of illuminating the entire forest yes, this isn't for you).

Currently the Sandberg Survivor Lantern All-In1 10000 currently retails for just 83.35Euros inside the EU (Amazon.de) a price tag which is very good for what you're getting. Yes, we're not talking about the perfect product and so i do hope Sandberg designs something even better (even if that means larger) but for people on a budget looking to get a powerbank and a LED lantern (not to mention everything else) the Survivor Lantern All-In1 10000 is a great choice and for that it gets the Golden Award.
