proscenic m7 pro review a

When the very first smart/automated home appliances made it into the consumer market just shy of two decades ago i just couldn't think of any reason i should own one. Leaving out my personal opinion however most of those products not only came with limited features but they were also filled with bugs which is probably why they never took off in terms of popularity and sales. Today well it's a whole new industry and so smart/automated home appliances have finally begun working their way into our homes with robot vacuums being the most common of them all, largely because of one thing most consumers have in common, lack of time. This along with the fact that i have 4 pets at home is why I’ve also "embraced" such reviews and so today I’ll be testing the latest M7 Pro model by Proscenic.

Proscenic" is a combination of “prosperous” and “scenic”, which symbolizes the future of intelligent life. The company was founded in 1993, it is a comprehensive home appliance manufacturer integrating R & D, manufacturing and sales. The company established branches in Japan, United Kingdom, Germany, France, to build a solid foundation for the brand's localized marketing and after-sales service, strives to build Proscenic into a leading brand in the smart home appliance industry in the next 5 -10 years.

The M7 Pro is the latest and most advanced Robot Vacuum by Proscenic mainly because of its v4.0 laser navigation, LDS (laser distance sensor) 3D mapping system and its rather impressive suction power (thanks to a Nidec brushless motor) which can reach 2600Pa (for comparison purposes the Roborock S6 produces up to 2000Pa of suction power). Proscenic however didn't just improve suction power for their top of the line M7 Pro model and so it's also equipped with a 5200mAh lithium-ion rechargeable battery pack (according to Proscenic it provides enough juice to cover areas up to 300 square meters), 600ml dust bin capacity, 110ml water tank capacity, Wi-Fi connectivity and a total of 24 built-in sensors (these include the already mentioned LDS distance/mapping sensor along with several anti-collision, anti-fall, SLAM, accelerometer, odometer and compass sensors) positioned on all sides (360 degrees sensing) which ensure optimal performance/cleaning regardless of floor type. All of the above give the M7 Pro the ability to perform several tasks including mopping, carpet cleaning (carpet boost function) and both selective (you can control where you want the robot to go, or not to go) and zone cleaning via the Proscenic Home app (aside the Android/iOS app the M7 Pro is not only also compatible with Alexa voice commands but there's also a remote control in the bundle which can be very convenient, especially for older people who are not into smartphones). Finally, in this review we'll also be testing the Intelligent Dust Collector Proscenic has as a separate add-on for the M7 Pro.
