1more triple driver over ear a

Because of their rather bulky size closed back over-ear) type headphones may not be considered to be extremely popular among people who like listening to music while on the road (or away from home in general) but noone can deny that they are more comfortable (at least in most cases), feature excellent noise isolation and capable of delivering superior audio performance (especially when it comes to bass levels) compared to earphones (in-ear). On the contrary for home and office use where size matters not over-ear headphone models are far more popular than earphones so at the end of the day it always comes down to your personal preferences. Last year 1MORE enriched their product lines with the Triple Driver Over-Ear Headphones and since it managed to gather numerous awards since then by both printed and online media which just had to check it out and that's exactly what we've been doing for the past three weeks.

1MORE was born with a profound mission: Music lovers, young or old, frugal or affluent, deserve to hear music as it was meant to be heard, as the artist intended it to be heard. Music lovers deserve to HEAR MORE. 1MORE offers MORE by transcending industry standards through revolutionary innovation, design and quality. Nothing should come between you and your music, for the goal of any great technology is to disappear. Through scrupulous engineering, streamlined manufacturing, and authentic marketing we provide a level of affordable luxury that no other brand can. There is a mountain of headphones brands. 1MORE isn't simply climbing that mountain. We are turning it upside down so everyone can reach the peak. 1MORE is globally distributed brand that has set up off-line channels in 25 provinces, more than 40 Hi-Fi audio reps, 3 Apple authorized chain store systems, and more than 3,000 brick and mortar stores in mainland China. 1MORE is also expanding rapidly into overseas markets. Our channels reach 26 countries and regions, including USA, Canada, England, Germany, Italy, Spain, Greece, Turkey, Australia, Korea, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, and Vietnam.

As the name clearly states the Triple Driver Over-Ear Headphones by 1MORE is based on a tri-driver design (ceramic tweeter, bass reflector and audiophile-grade graphene 40mm driver) placed inside an aluminum alloy chamber with polymer rims which allow it to deliver a maximum power of 50mW with a frequency response of 20Hz-40KHz (Hi-Res Audio certified), 32 Ohm impedance and 104dB sensitivity (just like other models by 1MORE Grammy award winner sound engineer Luca Bignardi was also behind the tuning of the headset). In terms of build quality 1MORE used breathable leather for the headband and earpads to increase the level of comfort and a stainless steel frame with anodized aluminum alloy earcups for both increased durability and resistance to fingerprints. The Triple Driver Over-Ear Headphones also feature foldable earcups that also rotate inwards up to 45 degrees and a detachable audiophile-grade cable (oxygen-free copper wire wrapped in kevlar core braided sheath for improved durability) with gold plated 3.5mm plugs. Sounds interesting right?

PACKAGING AND CONTENTS

1more triple driver over ear review 1t

1MORE packs the Triple Driver Over-Ear Headphones inside a black box that has a large product picture at the front along with the company name, main product features and the Hi-Res Audio logo.

The product specifications are printed at the rear of the box beneath a product description printed in 8 languages.

1MORE pays attention to detail so once again the box is kept close via a magnet with their name on it.

Once you remove the top cardboard cover you will see the 1MORE logo.

The interior of the box unfolds to reveal wireframes and exposed views of the Triple Driver Over-Ear Headphones and of course the bundle placed inside a large black carrying case.

Alongside the Triple Driver Over-Ear Headphones 1MORE also bundles a large carrying case (hard with soft rubber coat), storage pouch (soft fabric), 3.5mm to dual 3.5mm cable, 3.5mm to 6.3mm gold plated adapter, 1MORE sticker, warranty information paper and the user manual.

THE TRIPLE DRIVER OVER-EAR HEADPHONES

Before we start looking at the Triple Driver Over-Ear Headphones by 1MORE it's important to point out that this is the very first set to reach our lab that has two 3.5mm plugs (left/right) that connect with both earcups (the cable is braided up until the y-split and features gold plated connectors).

The Triple Driver Over-Ear Headphones are available in two color combinations (silver/black and gold/black).

In terms of size this is clearly a medium sized model (they also look great).

The design of the anodized aluminum earcups is quite impressive (you can even see the bass reflector from the exterior).

Here's a detailed picture of the parts placed inside each earcup (marketing material).

A single 3.5mm port (colored to match the cables) is placed at the rear of each earcup.

Left and right markings are not only placed on the interior above both earcups but they are also stitched inside them.

The headpad may not be very thick but it's surprisingly comfortable.

The earcups can rotate up to 45 degrees and fold for easier storage.

Both ends of the headband can extend up to 36mm (72mm total) via 12 increments (not visible ones).

Typically 1MORE has placed their logo on the exterior of the headband (also covered in leather).

The carrying/storage case has plenty of room inside the headphones, their cables and even a small MP3 player.

One thing we liked is that the cable pouch can be removed so you can take only that with you to store the cables and 3.5mm to 6.3mm adapter.

CONCLUSION

1more triple driver over ear b

When you’ve tested and/or used as many headphones and headsets as we have it’s only logical to have the bar set very high and the Triple Driver Over-Ear model by 1MORE had no problem reaching it. Unfortunately although highs are very crisp and accurate and mids are very detailed the Triple Driver Over-Ear Headphones lack the bass levels we were all hoping to get from a dedicated bass reflector. Don’t get me wrong, bass levels are still quite good (largely depends on the content used of course) and on par with what we’ve seen by other 1MORE models but at the same time it’s also worth pointing out that we’ve also encountered better ones from models with 50mm drivers (alas not dedicated ones – we do hope 1MORE will release a model with larger components in due time). In terms of design there’s really nothing we could have asked for more and the same goes for its excellent build quality although we do think that the earcups rotate far too easily (even placing them on the desk would cause them to rotate up to their full 45 degrees). As mentioned earlier in our review the fact that you need to plug both ends of the cable on both earcups may annoy some people but we didn’t really mind.

The Triple Driver Over-Ear Headphones by 1MORE are among their top-end models and so their current price tag of USD244.99 inside the USA (Amazon.com) and 189Euros inside the EU (Amazon.de) is well justified especially for what you’re getting in return. True these may not be the perfect headphones (however there’s little chance you will find something equal at around that price point) but 1MORE made certain that they deliver on everything that really matters such as audio and build quality and of course design which is why they get our Golden Award.
