As pollution and environmental contaminants become more ubiquitous, industrial applications need ever stronger protection. ADATA Technology, a leading manufacturer of high-performance DRAM modules and NAND Flash products, announces today that it has begun to apply anti-sulfuration technology to its industrial-grade solid-state drives (SSD) and DDR4 DRAM modules to counter corrosion and enhance the stability and service life of these products. In addition to this, ADATA has also upgraded the speed of its industrial-grade DDR4 DRAM modules to 2666MHz, boosting performance to meet the growing demands for high-performance and energy-efficient DRAM and SSDs for high-end industrial applications.

Anti-Sulfuration Technology – The First Line of Defense Against Environmental Contaminants
Sulfuration is a process that occurs when excessive sulfide in the environment interacts with the silver inside resistors to form silver sulfide. Silver sulfide can cause resistors to lose conductivity thus reducing the reliability and durability of industrial equipment. ADATA has implemented anti-sulfuration technology for its industrial-grade SSDs and DRAM modules to counter this. Components featuring anti-sulfuration technology are rigorously tested for the utmost effectiveness. These include sulfuration and reliability testing, which subjects the components to a high-sulfur, high-temperature (105°C), and high-humidity (91%-93%) environment for 45 days to confirm their compliance with the ASTM B809-95 specification. The testing ensures that ADATA’s products are able to meet the strict stability and durability requirements of industrial applications, such as industrial computers, power systems, energy exploration, network applications, surveillance, and outdoor electronic devices. Many key manufacturers of industrial computers and firewalls have already adopted ADATA products with anti-sulfuration technology to enhance the reliability of their operations and make their backup solutions more resilient.
DDR4 2666MHz DRAM Module with Wide Temperature Support
With the growing prevalence of Artificial Intelligence (AI), 5G, the Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data Analytics, and Cloud Computing in recent years, servers and data centers that store or process large amounts of data for long durations require higher performance DRAM modules that are also energy-efficient. ADATA’s new DDR4 2666 SO-DIMMs not only provide high-speed performance up to 2666MHz but can also operate optimally in a wide range of temperatures, from -40°C to 85°C. Combined with anti-sulfuration technology, ADATA DDR4 2666 DRAM modules offer triple advantages - high-speed computing, resistance to extreme temperatures, and anti-sulfuration protection, serving as a powerful and durable solution for industrial equipment.
