Product highlights at the WFX 2017 show include:

PT-RZ12K Series 3-Chip DLP™ SOLID SHINE Laser Projectors

The PT-RZ12K Series laser projectors incorporate cutting-edge technology to achieve vibrant picture quality.  These filter-less projectors are essentially dust-proof, and are subjected to punishing tests to ensure flawless performance in sanctuaries, gathering areas, and large religious classrooms. The PT-RZ12K Series is engineered for virtually maintenance-free long-haul operation, and shares optional lenses with Panasonic’s 3-Chip DLP™ projector family. At less than 95 pounds, the PT-RZ12KU Series 3-Chip DLP laser projector provides the highest image quality for environmental projection applications, projection mapping situations and digital signage solutions. The 12,000 lm WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200) projector boasts 120 Hz frame-replacement technologies and is compatible with high frame rate content, reducing blur from motion to deliver a clear, crisp image.

EF1 Series Professional Displays

To fit any signage need, the EF1 professional displays series expands the lineup of entry displays to include 32, 65, 75 and 84-inch display size. The EF1 Series offers a simple, flexible, and cost effective solution for various house of worship digital signage needs. The slim design offers excellent visibility and enables networkable media presentation, with a built-in signage player that allows video and still-image playback via USB. These displays can be mounted in either portrait or landscape orientation. The EF1 displays are perfect for gathering areas to post service times and dates and to increase awareness and attendance of events; vestibules to post personalized messages for visitors; and for sanctuaries to increase participation by posting hymns and scriptures.

LinkRay™ Technology

A new approach to digital signage, Panasonic’s LinkRay is a proprietary visible light communication technology, which enables smartphones with a dedicated app to access information emitted in signals from LED transmitters. Select Panasonic displays, as well as LED signboards, conventional posters backlit by LED lights, and LED spot lights, are able to transmit information to a mobile device with a LinkRay-enabled app installed. LinkRay allows a large number of people to learnabout an exhibit or environment using their mobile phones. Information sent to the user can be web-based, in form of audio or video files, and can even be translated into users’ native language. The LinkRay application is available for both iPhone and Android devices.

NDI Line-Up of Professional PTZ Cameras and Switcher

A new line-up of professional integrated cameras -- AW-HN38, AW-HN40, AW-UN70 and AW-HN130 -- feature built-in Network Device Interface (NDI) support. This fully integrated support of NDI version 3 enhanced with a new High Efficiency Mode allows users to connect these Panasonic professional PTZ cameras directly to an NDI network, with automatic detection by the NewTek TriCaster® system and NewTek’s IP Series of professional video switchers, as well as to seamlessly integrate with the hundreds of other NDI-capable products, enabled on NDI-capable computer systems.

The AV-HLC100 Live Production Center combines a 1 ME switcher, remote camera controller and audio mixer functions to enable easy live streaming as one-person operation. The HLC100 works directly with Panasonic PTZ and systems cameras, discovering and deploying them automatically using IP video transport.

AU-EVA1 Compact Cinema Camera

Weighing only 2.6 pounds, the AU-EVA1 5.7K cinema camera can be used for efficient handheld shooting applications and can also be mounted on a drone, gimbal rig, or jib arm for complex yet smooth camera moves. By starting at a higher native resolution, the 5.7K super 35mm sensor yields a higher resolving image when down-sampled to 4K, UHD, 2K, or even 720p. Its Dual Native ISOs are 800 and 2,500, which will allow video professionals to shoot in almost any lighting environment. The camera delivers 14-stops of Dynamic Range, enabling fine gradation in exposure from bright to dark. The EVA1 records to readily-available, lower-cost SD cards in several formats and compression rates, including i4K (4096 x 2160), UHD (3840 x 2160), 2K (2048 x 1080), Full HD (1920 x 1080), and HD (1280 x 720).

AK-UC3000 4K Studio Camera and AK-UB300 4K Box Camera

Increasingly popular in HOW settings, the UC3000 outputs a UHD signal (3840 x 2160 at 59.94p, 50p, 29.97p, 29.97PsF, 25p, 25PsF, 23.98p, 23.98PsF), while also delivering superb picture quality in HD. High dynamic range (HDR) is also possible for either HD or UHD images and there are no additional licensing fee requirements for UHD or HDR. The camera’s B4 mount accommodates the gamut of existing 2/3-inch lenses to maximize customers’ return on their investment in existing lenses, and allows a wider and more economical choice of glass.

Panasonic will also be presenting two training sessions for attendees on Tuesday, October 10th.  Delix Alex, Product Manager for Professional PTZ Cameras and IP Networking Systems, will discuss groundbreaking NDI technology that can improve and simplify worship production  from 3 p.m.- 4 p.m. CDT in room C-142.
