Kingston started its embedded business in 2010 to address the growing category of smart phones and tablets that require design-in, single chip storage and controller solutions, and has since evolved into providing solutions for the Internet of Things (IoT). Kingston currently manufactures eMMC, DDR3L, MCP, eMCP and LPDDR3. Mel Foster Company will focus on embedded industrial applications and IoT business for Kingston in Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. They will work with Kingston’s industrial distribution partners such as Arrow, Avnet, Future Electronics and WPG Americas to provide the highest level of customer support.
