With its highly strategic and importance place in the world, China is a critical market for international expansion for a wide range of global businesses including those in the automotive space. HARMAN is dedicated to expanding its footprint in the Chinese market, where we have continued to strengthen and expand our relationships with key Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and technology partners, to deliver carmakers with innovative and advanced industry-leading solutions. In line with these goals, this year HARMAN is making a grand arrival at Auto Shanghai from April 19th to 21st, where we will announce strategic business and technology partnerships, and new solutions that will positively impact a user’s overall driving experience.

Whether it is business partnerships with significant local players that extends our reach into this crucial market or a technology collaboration that delivers next-generation smart products to Chinese automakers, HARMAN’s upcoming announcements will advance its offerings to Chinese audiences and bring them a truly superior in-car experience. Located at booth 8AO2, HARMAN will be conducting demos for its SUMMIT Next and Voyager Next smart audio solutions in the Genesis 90 and Fiat 500 cars. We will also be showcasing our inventive Lifestyle Audio platforms like HALOsonic and the Branded Car Audio Industrial Design Wall, along with several consumer products on display at the booth.

Founded in 1985, the Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition or Auto Shanghai, as it is popularly known, has become an important event for all industry leaders and key players within the automotive space. This biennial exhibition alternates with the Beijing Auto Show, or Auto China, as the key international automotive show for the year in the region. With China’s increasing expansion and penetration into the global markets, the Auto Shanghai has become a premier international show rivaling other prestigious and well-renowned auto events across cities like Detroit, Frankfurt, Paris and Tokyo.
