Las Vegas, NV, January 5, 2016 – QNAP®, Inc. is “bringing it” to CES this year, with full-throttle innovations in networked storage that have catapulted the company to a commanding leadership position by offering the broadest lineup of products and solutions for the consumer, SMB, and enterprise market segments that are feature-packed yet affordable. QNAP will be unveiling the new versatile and compact TBS-453A “portable NAS” which will surely make some waves at CES as well as a super-exciting enterprise class product which combines high performance with easy and secured storage access.

Non-stop Innovation

When it comes to networked storage, most think of clunky industrial looking sub-systems. QNAP is out to show the industry that its latest NAS offerings continue to shatter the mold of what a NAS can be. At its invitation-only technology suite at the Renaissance Hotel next to the LVCC South Hall, QNAP will showcase compelling real-world network appliance application solutions that are engineered to amaze. Here’s a sneak-peek of what visitors can expect to see:

  • QNAP’s first portable NAS- TBS-453A; powered by an Intel® Braswell N3150 quad-core processor and boasts up to 8GB's of RAM, dual HDMI ports and also supports M.2 SSDs for fast performance. The NAS features a slick new compact chassis that is also portable so users can take it wherever they go.
  • A full lineup of new products of home & SOHO and SMB segments. TS-x53A series enjoys the upgrade from the previous Bay Trail to the newest Braswell family. A new entry-level ARM-based TS-x28 series powered by QNAP’s QTS OS will also be showcased at CES.
  • QTS- the world’s most advanced NAS OS adds more game-changing SMB-centric features such as Qpulse™ centralized remote server management, network virtual switch, HDMI-enabled desktop alternative OS such as Linux/Ubuntu™, Android™ and many more;
  • New enterprise products including the TDS-16489 that’s packed with dual Intel™ Xeon processors aimed for simultaneous backup and computing. QNAP will also showcase its supercharged ZFS-enabled ES-1642dc with its dual-controllers targeted for mission-critical business applications.
