DisplayLink, the leading provider of USB graphics technology today announced its latest USB docking chipset enabling forwards and backwards compatibillty for any and all USB connections, both USB-C and USB Standard A. The DL-6950 provides capability for dual Ultra HD 4Kp60 monitors via both DisplayPort and HDMI 2.0 connections, Gigabit Ethernet, Audio and includes HDCP 2.2 support. The chipset is on display at the DisplayLink booth #36805 in South Hall 4 upper floor and the HDMI Forum booth #21012 in South Hall 4, lower floor.

The DL-6950 is also uniquely backwards compatible with the vast installed base of USB Standard-A hosts for seamless deployment in commercial and enterprise environments with a mix of Standard-A and new USB-C hosts.  The DL-6950 is also fully compatible with all exisitng DisplayLink solutions for unrivaled expansion and flexibility.
