NEC Display Solutions of America, a leading provider  of commercial  LCD  display and projector solutions, today announced the MultiSync® E233WM widescreen  desktop monitor with LED backlighting.  Targeting  corporate and small-to-medium-sized businesses, the display includes eco-friendly  features and a slim design to save valuable desk space.

Compared to previous generation LCDs,  the E233WM display radiates less heat, uses less packaging and maximizes recycled  plastics in its production.  Mercury-free  LED backlighting and a carbon footprint meter help improve energy efficiency.  And the display also is compliant with ENERGY  STAR® 6.0 and includes ECO Mode™.

The E233WM-BK will be available in December 2015 at an estimated street price of $229, and  ships with a standard three-year parts and labor warranty, including the  backlight.
