HARMAN International Industries, Corp., the premier connected technologies company for automotive, consumer and enterprise markets, today announced a joint collaboration with Telechips Inc., a leading South Korean fabless semiconductor manufacturer, to deliver an Ethernet AVB based in-vehicle networking solution with superior entertainment features to help automakers take driving to higher levels of safety and convenience.

Compared to other alternatives, Ethernet AVB, with its guaranteed, synchronized and low-latency delivery of digital data, enables the development of more robust and flexible audio and video transport solutions for a landscape of applications. HARMAN’s Ethernet AVB in-vehicle networking solution provides an affordable, scalable, flexible, robust and security guaranteed in-vehicle network that helps automotive OEMs tackle the cost and complexity challenges involved in delivering next-generation in-vehicle-infotainment solutions. HARMAN’s suite of services for automakers supports an end-to-end approach to upgrade, connect and improve the entire automotive ownership experience.
