Toshiba Europe GmbH today announces the dynadock™ 4K – Toshiba’s first to deliver Ultra HD quality to compatible monitors and also enables dual screen support for up to 2048 x 1152 resolution. With the amount of Ultra HD content and devices increasing, it is ideal for those whose work or play demands graphic-rich content on multiple screens such as designers, photographers or video editors. The dynadock™ 4K also offers the flexibility to be used horizontally or vertically depending on space requirements. 

High resolution output
The Toshiba dynadock™ 4K delivers Ultra HD resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels) on a single monitor via the DisplayPort output allowing incredibly clear pictures to be extended to a larger compatible support screen. Higher than Full HD resolution can also be supported up to 2048 x 1152 pixels via DVI-I or HDMI®.

The Toshiba dynadock™ 4K can also enable the output of 2048 x 1152 content on up to two additional monitors when using the DisplayPort or HDMI® and DVI-I simultaneously. Taking into account the host PC monitor, the ability to have three screens displaying high resolution content offers increased versatility for multimedia users if they require a variety of information to be displayed simultaneously. 

Designed to organise any workplace
The Toshiba dynadock™ 4K is elegantly designed and adapts to space requirements by being able to be positioned either horizontally or vertically with a base helping to keep desks tidy, organised and clutter-free.

The Toshiba dynadock™ 4K allows users to expand and simplify their connectivity options when working at their desk. With four USB 3.0 ports on the back and two located on the front, users can connect multiple office and mobile devices such as an external keyboard, mouse or mobile phone charger. The two USB 3.0 on the front include Sleep-and-Charge technology allowing devices to charge as they are docked even when the laptop turned off. A headphone and microphone jack are also included while the inclusion of a Gigabit LAN port enables network access.

The Toshiba dynadock™ 4K will be available during the first quarter of 2015.
