Acer today announced the launch of the latest addition to the G7 Monitor series: the  G277HU. This 27-inch monitor offers WQHD native resolution and, thanks to its  Zero Frame design and stylish silver front bezel and foot-stand, it can fit  seamlessly in a variety of home and work environments.

Slim & Elegant  Design

The G277HU monitor is designed with a Zero Frame construction:  the frame around the display measures only 2.2mm in width, ensuring a  boundary-less visual experience. Moreover, it allows users to use more than one  screen at a time with little image interruption between them, and therefore  guarantees seamless visual enjoyment during multi-monitor usage. The G277HU has been developed to look good on any desk,  be it at home or in the office, and to match the user’s existing hardware; for   this reason, it comes in both classical black and stylish silver.

Expansive Views

The G277HU incorporates 2560x1440 pixels, providing four times the resolution of the  standard HD (720p). 1ms Response Time provides fast and clear  imaginary; this technology is especially convenient for gamers, who require  transitions to be rendered smoothly without the annoying effects of smearing or  ghosting. The G277HU can also be tilted from -5° to 15° for a better angle  adjustment and a more pleasant viewing experience. The G277HU is furthermore equipped with HDMI and  DisplayPort input for high-definition connectivity to any personal or  professional device. VGA and DVI are also available for more traditional  applications. Finally, two built-in 2W speakers guarantee an engaging sound  experience.

Eye Protect

The G277HU  boasts a range of technologies developed to protect the user’s eyes. Acer Flicker-less Technology eliminates  screen flickers, which may be damaging for heavy monitor users; Blue Light Filter Technology reduces  the user’s potential risk of vision loss by limiting exposure to blue light; LowDimming Technology allows the user  to set their backlight brightness to suit their environment in order to avoid  eyestrain; lastly, Acer ComfyView reduces light reflection for comfortable, optimal viewing that does not tire  the eye.
