Asetek® will highlight its RackCDU™ warm water liquid cooling solutions at the International Supercomputing Conference (ISC14) in Leipzig Germany June 22–26, 2014. HPC (High Performance Computing) and Virtualization servers from a variety of manufacturers will be on display with Asetek’s liquid cooling installed. On display will be servers from Dalco with RackCDU ISAC™ (In-Server Air Conditioning) and HP and Fujitsu servers incorporating RackCDU D2C™ (Direct-to-Chip). In addition, CPU and GPU blades sold by Cray® in its CS300-LC cluster supercomputer will be featured.
Additionally, Asetek will be presenting at the ISC Exhibitor’s Forum on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 from 3:40 pm - 4:00 pm. The presentation will highlight the University of Tromsø (UiT) in Norway’s installation of Asetek’s RackCDU hot water liquid cooling system in the university’s HPC Facility along with UiT’s recycling of over 70% of power for campus heating.
“Asetek is a Danish company and we are pleased to be able to feature our customers and our products at this important European conference. Asetek’s liquid cooling innovations for HPC and data centres address key European issues of high energy costs, the need for “green” technology and the importance of waste energy reuse.” said André Sloth Eriksen, Founder and CEO of Asetek.
Asetek’s RackCDU™ range includes RackCDU D2C and RackCDU ISAC. RackCDU D2C provides cooling cost reductions up to 80% and density increases of 2.5x-5x. RackCDU ISAC provides cooling cost reductions exceeding 80% and enables operation without concern for air quality. Asetek’s technology will be on display at booth 610.
The International Supercomputing Conference is the largest HPC showcase in Europe connecting about 170 HPC vendors and research centers with over 2,500 users and potential collaborators from around the globe.
