ASUS has identified a compatibility issue for a small number of users  with earlier versions of the ASUS Transformer Pad (TF701), using firmware  released between 2013/12/27 to 2014/1/5, which has affected CPU boost  performance. 

   For affected users, please update to the latest firmware available via  the support site link below, using a microSD card. A guide how to  perform the update via microSD is also available on the download page. All the  data on your TF701 will be retained after the
update, however, we recommend you  backup any essential data in precaution.
