Today, HP Inc. announced HP Experience AI, a new agentic AI platform being piloted on HP.com that lets customers speak or type what they are looking for and dynamically adapts the web experience to help them research, compare and select the best HP technology for their needs.
Traditional websites rely on fixed navigation, search and pre-built pages. HP Experience AI takes a different approach: conversation becomes an input to the broader website. Rather than simply returning search results or a separate chat response, the experience can change what appears on screen as customers describe and refine what they are looking for.
“AI should change how a company works, not just what it sells,” said Bruce Broussard, Interim CEO, HP Inc. “HP Experience AI is one example of how we’re putting that belief into practice, rethinking how customers engage with HP and using AI to create better experiences and greater value over time."
Reimagining the HP.com Experience
A customer can tell HP Experience AI they need a laptop for frequent travel. The platform can bring together relevant products and comparisons, ask follow-up questions when useful, explain the differences, and change what appears on screen as the conversation continues.
For a business buyer, the needs can be more complex. Someone equipping a hybrid team could describe requirements such as security, manageability, battery life and video conferencing, and HP Experience AI can help bring forward relevant options and comparisons around those priorities.
HP Experience AI is also a practical example of HP putting AI to work in its own customer experience. The beta gives HP an opportunity to learn how customers use an adaptive digital experience to discover and compare technology, and where the experience can be improved before broader rollout.
HP Experience AI is currently in beta with a limited group of U.S. customers. Feedback from the beta will help HP refine the platform as it prepares to expand globally in the coming months. Customers can visit HP.com and select ‘Experience AI’ at the bottom of the homepage to join the waitlist for early access.
