Sony will return to IBC to demonstrate how it’s shaping the future of entertainment with its innovative solutions spanning the latest technology in live, news, cinema, and immersive production.
In Hall 13, visitors will be able to experience the latest additions to Sony’s extensive portfolio, including:
- R-Series broadcast system cameras
- PTZ Auto-Framing cameras, SRG-AS10 and SRG-XS10
- Latest innovations in Networked Live & Software Defined Broadcast
- The new DP7 and DP5 controllers, FX5 Cinema Line camera and current development of the RIALTO 65 image sensor block expanding VENICE 2 to 65mm format
- Cinematic Live’s color-matched Cinema Line and HDC cameras – showcasing a broad portfolio for cinematic live production
- The 4th generation DWX series digital wireless microphone system, DWT-B40 and DWR-R40Q with exceptional reliability
- Spatial content production solutions, OCELLUS camera-tracking system V2.0 and XYN™
- HawkREPLAY delivering rapid turnaround to air with enhanced zoom and hold keyframe and HawkNEST improving fast 9:16 social exports for quicker content delivery
The stand will also present a whole host of use cases tailored to specific applications, such as leading Cinematic Live, AR & IP Broadcast studio, Immersive production, AI-powered streaming studio & Podcasting.

On the show floor, Sony will lead two conferences in the Showcase Theatre Hall 3: “A Software Revolution: The Future of Broadcast Workflows” and “The New Frontier: Redefining Multi-Camera Virtual Production.”
Fast, Reliable News Production Solutions for Broadcasting
Sony will feature an expanded range of data transmitters, including its previously announced collaboration with , designed to enhance transmission efficiency from the field, as well as the latest version of a camcorder with remote-control capabilities to broaden its range of applications. In addition, as part of efforts to improve the reliability of news reporting, a workflow demonstration utilizing authenticity information will be conducted jointly with Reuters, which was announced this week.
The PXW-Z300 launched last year and PXW-Z200 will be on display with the latest software versions, suitable for a wide range of production scenarios beyond on-location news gathering, including live streaming.
Live Production Solutions for Higher Added-Value Content Creation and Flexible Operation
Sony’s live production solutions demonstrate how broadcasters, production teams, and content creators can deliver higher-value productions with greater flexibility and operational efficiency. Next-generation system cameras will be on display, including the newly launched R-series, and the latest AI PTZ Auto-Framing cameras including the BRC-AM7 for broadcast, which will highlight version 3.1 firmware featuring improved tracking performance for Ball Sports (Basketball) mode, enabling smoother shooting and camera operations, as well as the cost-effective and accessible SRG-AS10 model. Additionally, Nevion media processing software solutions, MOXELA and VideoIPath help complement Sony’s robust ecosystem designed to support virtually any scale of event from major broadcast productions to smaller live streaming environments.
As announced this week, the 4th generation of the DWX series digital wireless audio system – the DWT-B40 and DWR-R40Q – will be making debuts at the show. It delivers exceptional reliability thanks to its back-up with 32-bit float internal recording (not currently supported in North America), professional grade transmission & simple set-up for everyone, to support a wide range of production applications.
Immersive Production Solutions for New Forms of Visual Expression
Sony will showcase the evolution of virtual and spatial content production, with its latest camera tracking system OCELLUS with Crystal LED VERONA, and CAPRI will be on display separately. Based on customer feedback, the upcoming OCELLUS FW V2.0 supports lens calibration and automatic offset measurement functionality to measure the positional relationship between the camera and tracking sensor. XYN™ Spatial Capture solution enables real-world spaces to be captured and transformed into high-quality 3DCG assets. On the Sony booth, visitors will be able to see how smoothly and efficiently these 3DCG scenes can be turned into photorealistic virtual production backgrounds.
A Diverse Range of Imaging Products
Sony continues to expand its Digital Imaging and Cinema Line portfolio, with the latest Cinema Line Camera FX5 and RIALTO 65 image sensor block making show debuts. Designed to enhance creative flexibility, the FX5 features a newly developed fully stacked CMOS image sensor, while new DP7 and DP5 monitors deliver accurate color reproduction and remote camera control. The latest Monitor & Control update adds EL Zone exposure monitoring and multi-camera control for vertical video, while Catalyst Prepare 3.0 introduces support for X-OCN C1/C2 footage, metadata-based clip selection and image stabilization.
Also on display will be Sony’s first fisheye zoom lens, FE 8-14mm F3.5 Fisheye G, which enables a 64mm optical-axis distance when paired with the VENICE Extension System Mini for natural stereoscopic imaging.
Environmental Initiatives: Exhibition Stand Utilizing Recycled Plastics
Sony’s “Road to Zero” global environmental plan aims to achieve a zero environmental footprint by 2050 & net zero impact by 2040. Sony’s stand features Polygood® panels made from recycled plastics, including reclaimed medical devices and food packaging waste. The fixtures are designed for more than three years of reuse, with this year marking the second year of deployment. Through stand designs premised on long-term use and recyclability, Sony continues its ongoing efforts to reduce the extraction of new raw materials.
