Silicon Power (SP) proudly announces that its XPOWER Cyclone DDR5 RGB gaming memory module has been awarded the prestigious Red Dot Design Award 2026. In addition to receiving the overall distinction, the Cyclone was also recognized in the newly introduced “Gaming and Streaming Design” category—highlighting its appeal in a rapidly evolving segment of performance-driven, design-conscious hardware.

Recognition at the Intersection of Gaming and Design

The Red Dot Award is globally recognized as a benchmark for design excellence, and the introduction of the “Gaming and Streaming Design” category reflects the growing importance of aesthetics and user experience in high-performance PC components. Following its recent win at the iF Design Award 2026, this latest honor further reinforces the Cyclone series as a defining product in SP’s gaming portfolio—bridging technical innovation with a strong, modern design identity.

Engineered for High-Speed Performance

The XPOWER Cyclone DDR5 RGB series is engineered for next-generation gaming and high-performance computing, delivering speeds of up to 9200MT/s across both UDIMM and SP’s first CUDIMM (Clocked Unbuffered DIMM)—a key milestone in its memory lineup. The CUDIMM integrates a Clock Driver (CKD) for enhanced signal integrity and timing precision, while Intel® XMP 3.0 enables one-click overclocking. A Power Management IC (PMIC) and On-Die ECC further ensure efficient power delivery, data integrity, and stable performance during intensive gaming, streaming, and multitasking workloads.

Where Minimal Form Meets Maximal Performance

At the core of the Cyclone’s appeal is its minimalist yet dynamic design. The sharply contoured aluminum heat spreader features a triangular motif inspired by the speed and motion of competitive esports, creating a bold visual identity for modern PC builds. Its 2mm-thick construction enhances thermal dissipation, reducing temperatures by more than 10°C during operation.[1] The integrated RGB light bar adds customizable lighting effects for a cohesive, immersive setup.

Winning the Red Dot Award 2026—particularly within the new “Gaming and Streaming Design” category—reflects Silicon Power’s commitment to combining high-performance engineering with purposeful, forward-thinking design for gamers, overclockers, and creators worldwide.
