The Berlin-based company FRITZ! will be presenting innovative products for an energy-efficient and convenient smart home at Light + Building 2026, which will take place from 8 to 13 March in Frankfurt am Main. The focus will be on the new, compact radiator control FRITZ!Smart Thermo 303 and the integration of the future-ready smart home standard Matter into the FRITZ!Box 5690 Pro, which will soon be available to try out in a FRITZ! Lab. FRITZ! will also showcase its comprehensive portfolio for a fully connected home. The FRITZ!Box models for fiber optics, DSL, cable or mobile networks serve as the central hubs for internet, telephony, Wi-Fi, and smart home applications. Visitors can experience firsthand the versatility of FRITZ! products, which offer both connectivity and intelligent control of heating, light, and energy consumption. FRITZ! will also present its premiers introduced at the MWC such as the quad-band extender FRITZ!Repeater 6700 Pro, the FRITZ!Box 6835 5G for Fixed Wireless Access, as well as the new FRITZ!Box models with Wi-Fi 7, the FRITZ!Box 5690 for fiber optics, FRITZ!Box 7630 for DSL, and the FRITZ!Box 4630 for easy connection to a fiber optic modem. Premiere: Compact radiator control FRITZ!Smart Thermo 303 for optimal indoor climate
With the FRITZ!Smart Thermo 303, FRITZ! expands its smart home portfolio, which already includes FRITZ!Smart Thermo 302, to include another compact and robust radiator control. It integrates seamlessly into the FRITZ! ecosystem and can easily be set up and controlled via the FRITZ!App Smart Home. Thanks to its reduced size, it is also ideally suited for controlling hard-to-reach radiator valves. Since it is additionally protected from tampering, such as removal, it is also perfect for use in publicly accessible areas. The FRITZ!Smart Thermo 303 is the smart solution for households, businesses, and educational institutions looking to reduce heating costs while ensuring a pleasant indoor climate.
Future-ready thanks to Matter: FRITZ!Box 5690 Pro embraces new standards
FRITZ! focuses on interoperability and champions integration of the smart home standard Matter. As part of FRITZ! Lab, FRITZ! is introducing Matter support for the FRITZ!Box 5690 Pro. This allows users to integrate their FRITZ! Smart Home devices (DECT) and compatible smart home devices from other manufacturers into a Matter network, and benefit from enhanced voice control and a wide range of smart features using applications from Apple Home, Google Home or Amazon Alexa.
Focus on sustainability: FRITZ! for an energy-conscious future
FRITZ! places great emphasis on sustainability and energy efficiency. The all-in-one approach of FRITZ! products eliminates the need for additional devices, thus saving costs and resources. The FRITZ!Smart Energy 250 current sensor, which can read digital electricity meters, along with smart plugs such as FRITZ!Smart Energy 200 and 210 and the upcoming new smart plug FRITZ!Smart Energy 201 with their measurement features and automatic switching schedules help minimize energy consumption and reduce energy costs. Long-term product support, the ability to continue using older FRITZ!Box models as extenders or smart home hubs, and much more highlight FRITZ!’s ongoing commitment to sustainability.
