EIZO Corporation (TSE: 6737)  today introduced the DuraVision FDX1004 – a 10.4-inch monitor engineered for demanding industrial environments. As the successor to the FDX1003, the new model joins the FDX1004T touch panel variant released in 2024, providing customers with both standard and touch panel options in this compact size.

The DuraVision series is built for durability and adaptability, offering monitors in a range of sizes and configurations to meet the diverse needs of industrial applications. The FDX1004 supports multiple mounting options for maximum flexibility, including a panel mount model for control terminals and factory automation systems, chassis mount for embedded equipment, VESA for wall-mounted operation, and a stand-equipped model for tabletop installation. Its housing design remains consistent with the previous model, ensuring a smooth upgrade path for system refreshes.

The FDX1004 introduces several enhancements over its predecessor. It features an IPS panel that delivers superior screen visibility and minimizes color shift at wide viewing angles, replacing the TN panel used in the previous model. It also offers updated connectivity with modern DisplayPort^TM and HDMI^® inputs alongside the legacy D-Sub 15 pin analog input.

Power options include AC models for VESA and stand-equipped versions, and DC models for panel and chassis configurations, supporting a wide DC12–24V input range for compatibility with diverse power systems.

Built for reliability, the monitor operates in temperatures from 0 to 50°C and features a sealed housing with no ventilation holes*, making it resistant to dust and liquids. The panel mount model achieves an IP65 rating on the front surface, providing dust-tight protection and resistance to water jets.

Since 2009, EIZO has delivered compact industrial monitors with long-term availability, and the FDX1004 continues this commitment to stability and performance for demanding environments.
