Performance 1 M

Antec Inc., a global leader in high-performance computer components, proudly announces the debut of the Antec Performance Exo, a bold new direction in chassis design that invites creators, educators, and innovators to take full control of how they build, learn, and experiment with technology.

Built on the proven Performance 1M sandwich-style frame and striped of panels to offer full visibility and access, the Performance Exo is not a traditional PC case—it's a platform. A platform for creation, exploration, and education.

“The Performance Exo is designed to empower users to create without limits,” said Frank Lee, CEO of Antec. “Whether you’re modding a PC, prototyping a robot, teaching students about computing, or building something the world hasn’t seen yet, Exo gives you the freedom to shape your ideas your way.

Key Features of the Antec Performance Exo

Open-Air Frame Design: Based on the Performance 1M, offering a strong foundation with unrestricted airflow and accessibility.

3D Printing & CAD Ready: Full schematics will be provided, allowing users to design and fabricate their own panels, mounts, or accessories using 3D printers and digital fabrication tools.

AIO Support: Compatible with 240mm and 280mm All-in-One liquid coolers for compact, high-performance builds.

Made for Modders & Makers: Perfect for showcasing hardware, experimenting with cooling setups, or creating one-of-a-kind builds.

Robotics Integration: Can serve as a CPU/GPU enclosure for robotics and AI projects—ideal as a “torso” or brain for embedded systems.

STEAM Education Ready: Built to inspire students and educators by providing a clear, hands-on view of computer architecture and enabling rapid prototyping in the classroom or lab.

A Platform Rooted in Legacy and Reimagined for the Future

The Performance Exo takes inspiration from Antec’s groundbreaking Skeleton chassis of the 2000s, which redefined how open-air computing could be visualized and customized. With today’s advancements in small-scale production tools like 3D printing and CNC machining, the Exo revives this spirit for a new generation.

From classrooms and robotics labs to modding workbenches and design studios, the Exo is a versatile canvas for creativity. Its open format, downloadable schematics, and educational potential make it a unique offering in the PC and maker landscape.

Availability

The Antec Performance Exo will be officially unveiled at Computex 2025, and will be available later this year via authorized retailers and Antec’s official store at www.antecplay.com. Full schematics and customization resources will be released at launch.
