AMD (NASDAQ: AMD) today announced the opening of a new Design Center in Romania. Located in Iasi, the new AMD design center will employ a diverse team of engineers focused on furthering both hardware and software innovations at the heart of the company’s leading high-performance computing solutions.

The creation of a new AMD Design Center in Europe, with plans for future expansion, highlights the company’s growing engineering presence and commitment to develop engineering talent in the region.
