MSI, a world leader in gaming hardware and innovative business solutions, announced today that gaming desktops including the Aegis, Codex, Trident and Infinite series will feature the all-new 11th Gen Intel® Core™ processors in conjunction with recently released GeForce® RTX™ 30 Series GPUs. The Aegis, Codex, Trident and Infinite series are built to meet the unique needs of each type of player, from entry-level MAG gamers to performance-level MPG players and even hardcore MEG players. The new 11th Gen Intel® Core™ CPUs bring greater Multi-Core and Single-Core performance, reaching up to 5.3GHz in single core Turbo boost frequency. The increase in computational performance allows for smoother, higher-quality game play, reaching higher frames per second output and fidelity, even in AAA gaming titles, compared to the previous generation CPUs. Multi-tasking performance is also refined for a better experience when streaming or performing other tasks like video editing.
These new Intel® CPUs introduce PCIe Gen 4 SSD compatibility to the platform, significantly reducing software load times compared to conventional hard disk drives. Assembled in the United States, many of the desktops are composed almost completely from MSI components, beginning with the chassis, motherboard and graphics card, to even the CPU cooling solution and PSU on select models. These configurations promote easy component upgradability along with MSI’s uncompromised quality.
