ENERMAX Revolution III S 1000W ATX 3.1 Power Supply Unit Review

INTRODUCTION                     As PC hardware continues to scale in complexity, the role of the power supply has expanded from a passive provider to an active guardian of system health. Clean rails, fast transient handling, and efficient conversion are now essential traits rather than luxuries. Builders looking for a PSU that can keep pace with today’s power‑hungry components will likely turn their attention to the...

EDIFIER HECATE G2000 PRO 2.0 Gaming Speakers Review

INTRODUCTION                 In today’s RGB heavy setups, desktop speakers have become part of the overall visual identity rather than just an audio add‑on. The category has matured into compact near‑field systems that aim for cleaner mids, tighter bass, and a footprint that blends naturally into a desk layout. From there, RGB gaming speakers push the idea further, pairing synchronized lighting with a more...

INTRODUCTION                   Over the past decade, 3D printing has evolved from a niche prototyping tool into a cornerstone of modern manufacturing. Today’s 3D printers can handle multiple filaments, complex geometries, and even color transitions with remarkable accuracy, a testament to how far...

Dune HD Q43R1 QLED TV Review

INTRODUCTION                   Smart TVs have become the default living‑room hub, not because they’re flashy (well, some are), but because they quietly centralize everything from streaming and casting to local playback and even light gaming. The real shift is that a TV is no longer just a panel, it’s an operating system with an opinion. Some platforms lean into aggressive recommendations, others into simplicity,...

    aune AC55 Reference Open-Back Clip-On Headphones Review

INTRODUCTION                 In the upper tier of personal audio, headphones and earphones stop being accessories and start becoming tools, the kind that reveal the texture of a bow on a string, the breath behind a vocal line, or the subtle decay of a cymbal. Hi-Res designs especially are clearly built for listeners who want intimacy without coloration, scale without exaggeration, and detail without fatigue...

Sharp NEC Display Solutions, a global leader in the display market, today announced its new Large Format MultiSync® ME Series digital signage displays. These standalone displays provide corporate, education and retail environments with a powerful digital signage solution, offering customers the technology they need to display clear and vivid UHD content. The ME Series products focus on maintaining proven NEC quality while also providing a cost-conscious digital signage display integrated with the latest standards.

One key feature of the ME Series is the option to mount the display in either landscape or portrait orientation. This allows for flexibility to display content in different ways, depending on the wall space or needs of the customer. These displays were also built for extended 18/7 operations and contain a full scheduler that allows for programmable daily On/Off times if necessary. On top of this, the ME Series was built with external control capabilities in mind by allowing full control options via both the LAN and RS232 interfaces. This allows for full compatibility with NEC NaViSet Administrator 2 software as well as other third-party control systems. With button lockout functionality and a full metal chassis, these displays are ideal for hallway signage in a higher education facility, a welcome sign in a corporate office or a scheduling board in a House of Worship, among a variety of other applications.

“Recognizing that the market is evolving and display needs are changing, we realigned our mainstream product category to meet those dynamic requests,” Ben Hardy, Senior Product Manager for Large Format Displays for Sharp NEC Display Solutions. “Building this new series with the expected quality and modularity of NEC products in mind, we are thrilled to provide our customers with the high-quality, competitive and trustworthy display solutions they have come to expect. We are eager to continue offering products that fit their specific needs while maintaining our unparalleled support.”

Part of this evolution for NEC includes increasing the modular capabilities of the product line by offering the ability to enhance its displays through multiple integrated professional technologies. All MultiSync ME Series displays accept the Intel® Smart Display Module Small or Large through a clever mechanical and electrical design for sleek all-in-one intelligence and interoperability in a small form factor setting. This allows for seamless implementation of Intel processor-based PCs and other peripheral devices without having to deal with the hassles of mounting external devices or running video or audio cabling. On top of this, the ME Series expands on the success of earlier display lineups by allowing for the optional implementation of the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 directly into each display (available Q2 2021). The Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 greatly outperforms previous versions by offering gigabyte network speeds, faster CPU processing and true UHD/4K support.

The ME Series will start shipping Q1 2021. For more information on Sharp NEC Display Solutions, visit https://www.sharpnecdisplays.us/.
