hyperx fury 64gbb

I can't really begin to count the number of products I’ve gotten my hands on by Kingston but what i can say is that more often than not we find that their products exceed their stated performance values something which also happened in this review since the HyperX Fury 64GB USB 3.0 flash drive managed to reach read speeds of up to 231MB/s (178MB/s in ATTO) and write speeds of up to 145MB/s (41MB/s in ATTO). These numbers are still far from the ones we recorded years ago when we tested the DataTraveler HyperX 128GB USB 3.0 drive but they are much better compared to the ones reported by Kingston so we have no complaints here. I would prefer a rugged body instead of a regular plastic one since it doesn't seem that it can take a beating but i do understand that Kingston needs to cut some corners to make their Fury line competitive so again no problems (it's not like most USB flash drive enclosures are made with other materials).

The HyperX Fury line of products by Kingston has but one role and that's to offer a very good price/performance ratio so if the price isn't right then this is all for nothing. Well while I’m typing these lines the HyperX Fury 64GB USB 3.0 flash drive retails for just USD29.99 inside the USA (Amazon.com) and for 33Euros inside the EU (Amazon.co.uk) so we feel that the price is right. The only slight issue we can think of is that the just a tad more expensive ($2 more in the USA) M70 64GB USB 3.0 flash drive by Silicon Power which we had with us last week performs slightly better and comes with a lifetime warranty so at least for USA residents that seems like a better choice in all. Overall however Kingston has released a very good flash drive in the market worthy of our Golden Award.
