Zyxel Communications’ Multy U AC2100 Tri-Band WiFi System was a winner of this year’s iF DESIGN AWARD, one of the most prestigious international design prizes. The stylish and unprecedentedly compact network device triumphed in the telecommunication category of product disciplines. The annual honor is organized by the Hannover-based iF International Forum Design GmbH, the world’s oldest independent design organization.

With over 6,400 entries from 50 countries, the competition was no cakewalk. Ultimately, the sleek and snappy Multy U received the critical thumbs-up from the 67-member jury, which is comprised of independent design experts from around the globe. The winning design is a marriage of form and function: its chic leather strap offers creative deployment options and color-shifting LED display cleverly represents network status. The victory is an affirmation of Zyxel’s mission to create products and solutions that are enchanting and ever evolving. And by tailoring the Multy U to the needs and sensibilities of younger users, Zyxel is paving the way for the networking of the future.
