[Singapore, September 20, 2018] Huawei won two acclaimed awards – “Best Telecom Service Innovation” and “Leadership in IoT”, “– at the TechXLK8 Asia Awards 2018 in Singapore.

The 5G Network Slicing as a Service (NSaaS) solution by Huawei was awarded the “Best Telecom Service Innovation” award. The solution enables operators the ability to provide differentiated network slices for varied vertical markets instead of just providing data connection with the same quality for all end users. Besides, it helps operators run a “slice mall” to sell network slices to enterprises. Huawei has already been conducting extensive trials on 5G Slice services with many first-tier operators, including Deutsche Telekom, Telefónica, China Mobile and so on.

The IoT Solution Partnership Program, developed by Huawei was conferred the “Leadership in IoT” award for its rendered IoT support to partners. Huawei’s injection of resources in the development of global and local IoT partnership ecosystem and OpenLabs across the globe has seen success from its IoT industry solution development of the IoT chipset – Boudica, LiteOS – to the creation of sustainable cloud-based IoT platform – Huawei OceanConnect IoT Platform and industry developer applications. Huawei has designed an IoT Solution Partnership Program which has upgraded the knowledge of more than 1300 partners across industries through 3 key touchpoints – Developer Community, OpenLab, and Marketplace.

Adoption of 5G will have enormous social and economic impact. It will create better lives through business innovation, productivity and efficiency. Huawei is working with industries to deliver 5G mission and bringing its benefits in a scale. The dream of creating a 5G City is now coming true.”
