A new addition to the best-selling Arlo Smart Home Security product portfolio, the all-new security light system is 100% wire-free and weather-resistant. Designed to illuminate dark, outdoor areas around the perimeter of homes and commercial properties, the Arlo Security Light System is a smart lighting solution that enables users to receive alerts whenever motion is detected and manage their system via the Arlo mobile app. The Arlo Security Light System is now available as one, two or three wire-free smart light kits.

The Arlo Security Light System was designed by NETGEAR to seamlessly integrate into existing Arlo smart security ecosystems. When motion is detected, the smart light triggers the user’s Arlo Smart Home HD Security Cameras to record and turn on additional lights as desired through simple menu options in the Arlo app. The Arlo app enables users to remotely control their security lights from anywhere, instantly sending email or mobile alerts whenever the lights are activated. Arlo Security Lights can also be controlled with simple voice commands via the Arlo Skill for Amazon Alexa®.

The Arlo Security Light System enables users to illuminate and secure areas around their homes  such as the entrance walkways, front gates, front yards, long driveways, deck and backyard areas including those behind the trees. Featuring superior motion sensitivity, the security lights can be adjusted to best serve each user’s specific security needs. Arlo Security Light System can be installed anywhere by any users without professional help,   thanks to the battery power operation, and superior long range wireless connection to the bridge. It is shipped with rechargeable, removable battery and flexible mounting kit.  Optional solar panel can be purchased separately to enable continuous operations without worrying about battery recharge. 

To further draw attention and deter intruders, the Arlo Security Light System makes it easy to change colors, flash on or off, adjust beam width and more. Lights can be set to automatically flash red, or any other color,  or illuminate in synchronized patterns individually or in groups when motion is detected by one of the lights or cameras, thus  bringing attention to unexpected activity.

The Arlo Security Light System is available now in the U.S. through authorized NETGEAR partners and other reseller channels, ecommerce sites, and major retailers. The Arlo Security Light System is expected to be available worldwide later this year.
