Kingston Digital, Inc., the Flash memory affiliate of Kingston Technology Company, Inc., a world leader in memory products and technology solutions, today announced it will exhibit at Digital Signage Expo, March 28-29, 2018, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Kingston will show off its design-in SSDs for purpose-built systems including digital signage, telephone / video conferencing systems, IoT applications, video capture machines and other devices that require storage.

Kingston’s design-in SSDs are available to companies that design or directly manufacture systems and client-grade devices targeted toward end customers. The Kingston advantage includes a locked Bill of Materials (BOM) and full capacities. The locked BOM allows system manufacturers to consistently build with the same brand components ─ using the same build and firmware that have already been qualified. Kingston’s design-in SSDs support both SATA (M.2 2280/2242, mSATA, 2.5″) and NVMe (M.2 2280) form factors.

“Kingston has long manufactured traditional system memory as well as SATA and newer PCIe NVMe SSDs for client PCs and data centers,” said Sarah Shen, design-in SSD & embedded business manager, Kingston. “Design-in SSDs for digital signage and other purpose-built machines as well as embedded solutions for devices and IoT apps are a natural evolution of Kingston’s end-to-end memory and storage offerings of the past 30 years.”

Kingston’s embedded offerings include eMMC, eMCP, ePOP and DRAM components. With the proliferation of IoT applications, Kingston has the industry alliances and relationships as well as the manufacturing and testing expertise to deliver embedded solutions to customers of all sizes.
