ASUSTOR Inc. is announcing its new AS4000 series during CES 2018. This new series features a redesigned exterior with a crystalline black magnetic front bezel which is not only dustproof, but also easy to disassemble. The unit is fully screwless for easier hard drive installation and supports hot-swappable hard disks. The AS4000 series greatly improves the convenience of installation and reinstallation of hard drives.
The AS4000 series introduces the 2-bay AS4002T and the 4-bay AS4004T, respectively to meet the storage needs of individual and/or highly specialized users. This series uses a Marvell Armada Dual-Core CPU, built-in 2G DDR4-2400 memory, 1 x 10GBase-T, 2 x Gigabit LAN, giving you some of the fastest performance speeds on a NAS.
