Thermaltake, the industry leader in computer chassis, thermal solutions, and power supply units, has enhanced the Smart Power Management(SPM) service platform (dps.thermaltake.com) with the addition of two new features: Energy Saving Plan and Voltage Alert. The platform enables users to assess the environmental friendliness of their systems, track energy usage, and receive fan failure alerts when overheating occurs.
With the Energy Saving Plan, users can set a wattage consumption goal for a selected time period to further reduce power costs. Users can also receive push notification on the daily wattage consumption via a mobile app or email anytime and anywhere. The other new enhancement to the SPM Platform is the Voltage Alert, which automatically sends a warning message to users via the DPS G APP 2.0, DPS G Mobile APP 1.0, and DPS G Smart Power Management Cloud 1.0 when the voltage is at an abnormal level. This minimizes the risk of damage to internal components, and helps PC systems become more reliable and efficient.

A socially responsible corporation, Thermaltake strives to help users save energy, reduce CO2 emissions and whereby protect the environment. Going forward, Thermaltake will continue to satisfy all the needs of the modern digital power supply user by developing new and more convenient functions for the SPM Platform

More applications are coming on Smart Power Management
Thermaltake has introduced Smart Power Management (SPM) combining with the new Toughpower DPS G RGB 1250W, an 80 PLUS Titanium certified digitally-controlled power supply, Smart DPS G series Gold (750W/650W) and Bronze (500W/700W/600W) power supply units (PSU), and Toughpower DPS G Platinum (850W~1200W) and Toughpower DPS G Gold (450W ~ 1050W) which incorporate various high-tech components, leading technology and Eco-friendly commendations. Users are capable of analyzing their energy usage and achieving CO2 emission reduction via the SPM.

What is Smart Power Management (SPM)?
Thermaltake would like to raise the awareness on global warming to all PC DIY/ PC users through the Smart Power Management (SPM) platform. SPM is a cloud computing platform that tracks and analyzes PC electricity consumption, allows user to observe and learn their own energy consumption whereby alter their behaviour to achieve the goal of reducing CO2 emission, and together contribute to slowing global warming.

Latest Enhancements to SPM Platform

Energy Saving Plan
This new function estimates the amount of money users can save and their contribution to protecting the environment through monitoring electricity usage. By using the Energy Saving Plan, users can set a goal for wattage consumption within a specific time period and further trim their electricity bill. In addition, a usage reminder and daily energy consumption report will be sent to users via email and mobile app. Such notifications enable users to easily achieve their energy saving goals while at the same time contribute to environmental protection.

Voltage Alert
The voltage alert is the latest addition to the DPS G PC APP 2.0. Once the voltage is over or below 5% of the normal voltage level, a warning message will be automatically sent via the DPS G APP 2.0, DPS G Mobile APP 1.0, and DPS G Smart Power Management Cloud 1.0. The push notification minimizes the risk of damage due to the malfunction of internal components.
