Thermaltake unveils the Smart Power Management(SPM) service platform (dps.thermaltake.com) combined with Smart DPS G and DPS G software providing clean and stable power and three intelligent platforms - DPS G PC App 2.0, DPS G Smart Power Management Cloud 1.0, and DPS G Mobile App 1.0 - offering “Three Screens and a Cloud” service – DPS G PC APP 2.0, DPS G Smart Power Management Cloud 1.0, and DPS G Mobile APP 1.0 – for users to monitor and record the status of power consumption, voltage distribution, and electricity cost for advance usage. The complicated parameters of the power supply are displayed in various types of charts to help the user easily understand and analyze their usage. In addition, the real-time warning alert will be sent to the DPS G Smart Power Management Cloud 1.0 and Mobile App 1.0 immediately when the fan fails and PSU temperature is overheated.

Thermaltake is not only pursuing high computer performance but is also creating inspirational products. In the future, more and more green power supplies with SPM support certification will be coming to market. Many local computer retailers and manufacturers from different countries, including Taiwan, United States, United Kingdom, Germany, and China are supporting the Thermaltake Smart Power Management (SPM) because they all believe the SPM can help users alter their energy consumption behaviors therefore saving electricity costs.

DPS G PC App 2.0: Energy Usage Data Collection
Users that have installed the PSU with SPM supported in their computer would have the ability to monitor and analyze the key parameter of their PSU and parameters of the CPU and VGA cards, including voltage, ampere, wattage, temperature, efficiency, and fan speed by the automatic uploading of data every minute after registering on the website. The usage of total time, electricity costs, and energy consumption would be simply managed through DPS G PC App 2.0, especially for advanced use in corporations.

DPS G Smart Power Management Cloud 1.0: Energy Consumption report and ECO report
By uploading the power usage data from PC APP 2.0 onto the SPM every 6 hours, users are capable of monitoring and analyzing the parameters upon multiple PSUs through the SPM Cloud 1.0. The dashboard provides the real-time information, such as total time, total cost, total kWh, average wattage, and average efficiency within 30 days, 14 days, or 7 days. In addition, users can access the Eco report and the Energy consumption report to understand the detailed information about CO2 emission and energy consumption by comparing current data with the previous 3 months. These two reports provide the various types of charts to help users easily understand the complicated numeric data and their usage behavior during a specific time period.

DPS G Mobile App 1.0: Distance monitoring
Users are capable of accessing the power usage data through Android or iOS devices anytime and anywhere. Real-time warning alert will be sent out from DPS G PC APP 2.0 to the SPM once the fan fails as well as the when the temperature is overheated (over 140℉/60℃). Meanwhile, the SPM will push the real-time warning alert to DPS G Smart Power Management Cloud 1.0 and Mobile App 1.0 immediately.
