Don’t be a passenger, help drive change in automotive intelligence. Automotive operators from across Europe gathered at the recent Automotive Innovation Summit (27-29 May 2015) in Berlin to listen to some of the leading authorities in IT solutions and technologies.

Automotive Intelligence – the future provided the perfect platform for leading executives from OEMs, partners and suppliers from across the industry to hear from experts, explore new and emerging technologies and network with colleagues and peers.

The key focus of the conference was to hear from automotive visionaries and strategists outline their thoughts and challenges for the future. Hot topics included an insight into the automotive investment community to connected vehicle, the future of mobile diagnostics and use of ‘big data’. A panel discussion on the future of legislation opened up the standpoint from a European perspective and afforded the opportunity to leading figures to meet and discuss in detail the opportunities and challenges for the industry. The conference finished with further insight into the future of electric vehicles and the impact of autonomous vehicles in the years to come.

“No matter whether you are in R&D, production, sales & marketing, after sales care we all have one common goal & that is to look at innovation, work together and really address the challenges & the needs of the automotive industry today and tomorrow,” said Russell Younghusband in his opening remarks at AIS 2015.

“The reason Panasonic runs events like AIS is because it is clear in the industry that there are lots of trends that are appearing including the connected vehicle, IoT, autonomous driving right the way through to the diagnostic and future challenges.  Our customers, our suppliers tell us that they really appreciate this type of forum to be able to come here and share ideas, debate and ultimately find solutions to help them take their business forward.”
