ASUSTOR Inc., a leading innovator and provider of network storage solutions, has announced that it will be exhibiting a line of enterprise-class NAS devices (AS7004T/AS7008T/AS7010T/AS7009RD/AS7012RD/AS7009RDX/AS7012RDX) and brand new functions for its surveillance storage solution, Surveillance Center, at Computex 2015. ASUSTOR will also be collaborating with Seagate, which will be providing its dedicated NAS and surveillance hard disk drives for live demonstrations, creating practical storage and surveillance scenarios for visitors to view.

At Computex, ASUSTOR will be exhibiting its powerful flagship models equipped with the newest functions from the ADM 2.4 operating system. ADM 2.4 strengthens already existing core functions and has added many new features such as support for the SNMP protocol that increases network management convenience, flexible remote access management via the Geo IP expansion module, and enhanced shared folder encryption mechanism which effectively increases data encryption speeds while properly releasing storage space previously occupied by already deleted files. Furthermore, with regards to backup and restore functionality, a local backup option has been added, allowing users to create even more flexible scheduled backup jobs for data on their NAS or execute local backups after the creation of MyArchive hard disk drives.

ASUSTOR will also be exhibiting the newest Surveillance Center 2.3 functions. After installing Surveillance Center on their NAS, users can enjoy the use of 4 free camera channels which can be expanded up to a total of 40 channels via purchasable add-on licenses, satisfying the needs of enterprise users who require large scale surveillance configurations. ASUSTOR’s exclusive HDMI local output support is also enhanced, providing comprehensive views of all camera channels and offering the same type of convenience that can be found on Surveillance Center’s Web interface. Additional new functions also include automated event action rules, foreign object detection and simple and intuitive on-screen controls which simplify surveillance management while providing a safe and protected environment.
