NEC Display Solutions of America, a  leading provider of commercial LCD  display and projector solutions, announced today  several affordable product bundles with SpectraViewIITM  calibration software to help pro-sumers, entry-level photographers and  desktop power users manage color accuracy.

The SpectraViewII EA  Kit, which includes SpectraView software and a Spyder color calibration sensor,  is now available as a separate option or bundled with the the 24-inch MultiSync® EA244UHD (3840 x 2160  resolution), 27-inch EA274WMi (2560 x 1440 WQHD resolution),  and 30-inch EA304WMi (2560 x 1600 WQXGA resolution)  displays.

“These latest bundles offer  affordable color management and color accuracy, and also leverage the NEC  hallmarks of great ergonomics and eco-friendly features,” said Art Marshall, Product Manager of  Professional and Medical Displays at NEC Display Solutions.  “NEC has built its  MultiSync PA Series as the standard for color-critical professions.  Now, it’s bringing that same expertise for  color accuracy to the wide gamut EA244UHD and EA304WMi models, and standard  gamut EA274WMi display.”

SpectraViewII uses a closed-loop process of measurements leveraging external sensors to make  adjustments to a monitor’s lookup tables (LUTs).  The results are accurate, stable and  repeatable.

Each display in  the SpectraView bundle includes an AH-IPS LED panel with ergonomic adjustable  stand and 130mm height-adjust, tilt, swivel and pivot features.  The displays also offer smart sensing  technology, which automatically detects work conditions to determine the proper  display brightness with ambient light and human sensors.  In addition, ECO ModeTM, carbon  footprint meters and cost meters on these displays mean industry-leading low  power consumption and fewer hazardous materials.

The EA244UHD-BKSV, EA274WMi-BKSV and the EA304WMi-BKSV displays  ship with a 3-year limited parts and labor warranty, and will be available in  November 2014 at an estimated street price of $1,499, $949 and $1,749,  respectively. The SVII-EA-KIT, which  includes the SpectraView software and the Spyder calibration sensor, is also available at an  estimated street price of $199.

The release of the MultiSync EA Series SpectraView bundles follow NEC  Display’s recent  collaboration with Light Illusion, a color management specialist, to enable  native calibration for NEC color-critical monitors used in post-production and  broadcast markets.
