Sharp today announces that its new PN-Y range of edge lit LED monitors, with an in-built USB media player, is now available to buy across Europe. The displays can play video and images cued on an “autoplay” list, without being attached to a network, making them ideal for simple and trouble free signage applications. Easy-to-use, solid and affordable, the PN-Y Series is available in four sizes, from 32” to 55”.

The PN-Y series is available in 55” (PN-Y555), 47” (PN-Y475), 42” (PN-Y425) and 32” (PN-Y325) and includes a full range of PC and other video connections, including HDMI, DV-I and D-Sub. Using DV-I out, users can even daisy chain content from one source to display simultaneously on up to five displays.

Each model offers full HD (1,920 x 1,080) resolution, supported by a high brightness and contrast level, ensuring excellent image quality. The slim LED backlight monitors - with anti-reflection coating - deliver remarkable colour quality and uniformity, even at wide viewing angles, in any professional environment.

Keeping the focus on the content, the PN-Y series is robustly yet stylishly designed with a slim bezel. The displays are extremely durable and can run for prolonged periods in both landscape and portrait installations (up to 24/7 for the 32” model), thanks to a dust free cooling system, combined with a temperature sensor.

PN-Y displays are easy to integrate within larger signage applications. Designed with system integrators in mind, their full set of signal input interfaces, full LAN and RS232C remote controllability, and the many professional features, including screen split function, display cloning and powerful built-in speakers make them easy to set up.
