QNAP

Taipei, Taiwan, September 17, 2014 – QNAP® Systems, Inc. today released the Qget Android HD mobile app that is designed for tablet users to manage download tasks on their Turbo NAS, allowing them to easily search download sources, manage downloaded files, and back up personal videos on the go.

Qget Android HD is an easy-to-use download management application provided with the Turbo NAS. Users can add BT, HTTP, FTP, and Magnet link download tasks directly to the Download Station with the built-in Internet browser. With the “BT Search” function, users can easily find torrent files for quick download while the “BT Upload” function allows multiple BT files to be uploaded to the Download Station.

“In addition, Qget Android HD provides a quick & clear status overview of all download tasks on Android tablets, making download management much easier and straightforward while users are on the go,” said Willy Kuo, product manager of QNAP.

When users find interesting videos on video websites like YouTube, they can back up these videos to the Turbo NAS with just a simple tap via HappyGet 2 (a third-party application available from the QNAP App Center) and enjoy their personal media collection anytime.

Qget Android HD supports tablets with Android 4.0 or above. To fully enjoy the functions of Qget Android HD, Turbo NAS users must upgrade their firmware to QTS 4.0 or newer versions and install Download Station and HappyGet 2 from the QNAP App Center.
