Today, FUJITSU Server PRIMERGY LX1430 M1, a single-socket rack server designed specifically for Internet Service Provider data centers, is launched by Fujitsu, the leading Japanese information and communication technology (ICT) company.

“We are pleased to strengthen the business relationship with AMD with the new Fujitsu server PRIMERGY LX1430 M1 based on the 2nd Gen AMD EPYC processor. This joint collaboration will accelerate to deploy AMD EPYC based systems to help customers achieve digital transformation and innovate their businesses.” said Kenichi Sakai, Corporate Executive Officer, senior vice president, Head of System Platform Business Unit.

Designed to fulfill the customer needs of scale-out cloud environments, PRIMERGY LX1430 M1 will provide a significant TCO savings for customers by its superior performance with lower power consumption, simple configuration and high virtual machine density enabled by the 2nd Gen AMD EPYC processor with up to 64 CPU cores and 16 memory slots. In addition, deploying Fujitsu infrastructure management software "FUJITSU Software Infrastructure Manager (ISM)" realizes entire system management, consisting of server, storage and network, helping customers efficiently operate their datacenter.

“Cloud and Enterprise customers are looking for leadership performance and lower total cost of ownership to support increasingly complex workloads,” said Scott Aylor, corporate vice president and general manager, Datacenter Solutions Group, AMD. “The 2nd Gen AMD EPYC processors deliver single-socket performance at price points that set a new standard for the modern datacenter.”

2nd Gen AMD EPYC processors feature up to 64 “Zen 2” cores in leading-edge 7nm process technology to deliver record-setting performance1 and can drastically reduce TCO across numerous workloads. Additionally, the processors’ AMD Infinity Architecture pushes the boundaries for x86 performance and compute capabilities, giving customers access to the most I/O2 and memory bandwidth3 in its class, including PCIe® 4.0, to unleash the very latest in server performance.

2nd Gen AMD EPYC™ processors are specifically designed for modern datacenter workloads, providing customers an ideal combination of features to help unlock performance and redefine economics in virtualization, cloud, HPC and enterprise applications.
