Expanding its portfolio of Icon-E project vehicles, Garage Italia awed consumers with the unveiling of the first of five customized Fiat Panda 4x4 vehicles on September 23 in Milano, Italy. The inspiration behind Icon-E vehicles is to give a new life to admirable classic cars by equipping them with an electric motor – and refreshing them with a brand-new design.

This first Panda 4x4 vehicle, known as the Panderis project car, is born from the synergy with Vitale Barberis Canonico, the Biella-based woolen mill with over 350 years of history that enriches the 4x4 with a unique sartorial touch thanks to the interiors made with its fabrics. For a bold, vibrant sound experience, the designers of Garage Italia decided on custom fit superior JBL Car Aftermarket speakers into the refined Fiat Panda 4x4 vehicle cabins. Featuring four JBL Club 4020 coaxial loudspeakers and a JBL Basspro SL active subwoofer, the Panderis project car will make the adrenaline of the car passengers’ rise with the beat of their favorite song. In other words, Garage Italia’s latest vehicle sounds just as dynamic as it looks.

With the launch of the Panderis, HARMAN’s JBL and Garage Italia are entering into a long-term partnership that will bring bold, vibrant sound to Garage Italia’s lavish, made-to-order vehicles. As part of the collaboration, the renowned Milano-based customization company will have access to JBL’s robust portfolio of car aftermarket and consumer audio solutions to transform the car into a place where music meets a new dimension.
