Western Digital (NASDAQ: WDC) will be at VMworld 2019 (August 25-29) demonstrating how its portfolio of VMware®-certified solid-state drives (SSDs), storage servers and NVMe™ all-flash arrays help unleash the transformative power and possibilities of data. By placing 'Data @ the Center', enterprises can break down data siloes, accelerate mission-critical applications and hybrid-cloud workloads, and optimize virtualized and hyperconverged infrastructures (HCI) to deliver faster insights and drive competitive advantage.

EXHIBIT: Western Digital will showcase its industry-leading innovation from silicon-to-systems across a wide spectrum of VMware-certified products for virtual, hybrid cloud, hyperscale and HCI environments. Visitors can join the numerous presentations and get up-close demonstrations of Western Digital's broad lineup of Ultrastar® SSDs and storage servers, and its IntelliFlash™ NVMe all-flash arrays that deliver high-capacity, high-performance and data durability with exceptional storage economics. Additional offerings on display will include the newly announced Ultrastar 96-layer 3D flash NVMe families of SSDs, as well as the new Ultrastar Serv24-4N four-node NVMe all-flash and Serv24+6 hybrid storage server platforms, capable of supporting 336TB1 of HDD storage and up to 48TB of high-performance NVMe flash—balancing both storage density and performance for vSAN workloads. The company will also demo its certified ESXi, vSphere and vSAN solutions, with a close-up look at build-it-yourself, cost-effective vSAN solutions options.

DATA @ THE CENTER DEMO STATIONS

Western Digital Solutions Theater located in the booth will highlight presentations including, "Cost-Effective, High-Performance All-NVMe vSAN HCI Solutions," "NVMe for Virtual Workloads," and "Simplifying Storage Management for Virtual Environments." A number of partner-led sessions will cover additional topics ranging from composable storage infrastructure and multi-cloud architectures to solutions for optimizing next-generation workloads such as AI and machine learning.
