CONCLUSION

dream machines dm1 pro sb

Immediately when i started using the DM1 PRO S1 it reminded me of the Sensei MLG by SteelSeries and the FK1 by Zowie and that's not a bad thing. It's a bit larger compared to my favorite FK1 gaming mouse by Zowie but that didn't really matter much since thanks to the PixArt PMW3360 IR LED sensor it offered very good accuracy and speed (glide was also very good) although i doubt most people will be able to use it at 12000DPI (4800DPI will probably be the ideal setting for most). The glossy enclosure was a bit slippery at times and that's why i always prefer rubber coated ones but that is yet another one of those things that comes down to personal preference (besides you can always get the rubber coated enclosure version). Also the ability to change LED colors would also be nice and would certainly attract buyers that care about those things but since the DM1 PRO S doesn't have control software we know that it's not possible. As for build quality the enclosure is quite sturdy (weight is also ok but for some people it just might be too light) and the OMRON switches used for the primary buttons are already very popular among gamers so i don't expect anyone to come across any problems with this gaming mouse.

Although the DM1 PRO S by Dream Machines is widely available at the time I’m typing these lines (ok availability could be better) you can also get it directly from their official page for USD49.99 (currently there's also a -USD10 offer available) a price tag which lands it beneath many other similar models. Of course with most models you're also getting a control software to access several of their features (LOD, polling rate, DPI presets, illumination) but most people will probably be ok with what Dream Machines has chosen for the DM1 PRO S (we are). So although the DM1 PRO S doesn't really bring anything to the table that we haven't already seen in the past it's a fast and accurate mouse with very good build quality that costs less compared to other similar models featuring the PixArt PMW3360 sensor and for that it gets our Golden Award.
