PACKAGING AND CONTENTS

The Ostrog arrived inside a plain cardboard box with the product name (right beneath what seems to be the top of a tower) and the Enermax logo at the lower left corner of both the front and rear.

The model version and color included in the box can be seen on the right side.

Moving at the left side we see the specifications table.

As expected the Ostrog is placed inside a plastic bag and between two foam spacers.

Six 3.5" drive brackets, 8 cable ties, 2 cable straps, extra PCI expansion slot shield, user's manual, case speaker and a bag with all the necessary mounting screws and standoffs.

Nice case....Not very small nor very large.....Wish it was available in pink
I prefer the classics of Antec or Fractal models because they are already upgraded with each release and can be found everywhere.
The others would be less accessible and at higher prices, without making a difference.
Unfortunately there is no perfect case.

Well USb ports at the top are convenient but you do have to worry about dust. However it's not hard to use a plastic cover or something over it, there are plenty around.
Some thoughts about convenience of usb ports, power/reset buttons and outs placing. Did you notice that placing them on top of the case is convenient only if the case is placed on the floor(or under the desk)(,where it accumulates LOTS of dust). While placing case on desk, especially if interior is eye-catching/modded, with such ports/buttons layout seems very inconvenient. Did I missed something?
Well 9 out of 10 people i know place their towers on the ground next to their screens so the I/O at the top is the best solution for them.
For people who place their towers on their desks side/front USB ports would be easier to use but we are not talking about a full tower, the Ostrog is quite short so it should be quite easy to use the top I/O.

Thanks for the review, looks like a nice budget case. As for the dust my 690 II has the USBs on top and I never covered them, still working with no problems.
Decent i'd say. I like those simple designs and sturdy cases.Ostrog fits on that category. Great job with the review.

I just received this case (with side window) for my next build. looking forward to it. I may go AMD on this one to keep the costs down a bit, I prefer Intel but it makes a huge hole in my wallet for months to come... How do you feel about USB ports on the top of the chassis? I always feel concerned about dust getting inside of them and building up. I leave flash drives in them just to avoid it.
